Synopsis:
Ben Chertoff: Hi this is Ben Chertoff with Popular
Mechanics.com . I am here with Richard Griffith who
is the founder of Hybrid Technologies, is that right?
And you have got a motorcycle here that looks like a
regular motorcycle but it's pretty special, what's
going on here?

Richard Griffith: Well, its called the stealth and I
think it is a pretty appropriate name. We call it the
Stealth because it is an all lithium chopper. The
bike is really something that we are really proud of
because it really has alot of form and function as a
bike but ti runs off of all electric. We looked at
this as being a really suitable alternative to the
Harley weekend warriors that want to be eco-warriors.

Ben Chertoff Narrates with close-up: With a top speed
of 55 mph the Stealth won't be breaking any speed
limits, but as an all electric vehicle, it won't break
the bank either.

Ben back to interview: So is it on right now?

Richard (bike rolls silently): We are on right now.

Ben: Wow, unreal.

Richard: You we were actually thinking of putting
speakers on the bike to give it that "ROARRRR" sound.
But, you know, what alot of people miss is the sound.
So I think, we need to put an I-pod thing [he points
to handlebars] to make the sound. But I tell you this
thing performs beautifully.

Ben: Yeah?

Richard: Absolutely! [He then merges with city traffic
and drives by silently]

Ben recapps: So this bike right here is equivalent to
about 500cc. Of course Hybrid Technologies can
convert just about any bike to any size electric motor
you like. The beauty is your losing the growl of the
Harley and gaining the beauty of zero emission
driving. From Popular Mechanics.com Ben Chertoff.
