Sorry guys, i am a simplton here. I think my thread has swerved off course. I
am not talking about gaining a whole lot. Of course, once the batts are dead,
they are dead, wind generator or not. (Unless your in a tornado or have a
really, really long downhill run.) And of course, something from nothing is not
going to happen.

What i want is just a touch less draw on the batts. Now be it that i cannot
produce a tremdous load of energy, just enough to take the load from the dc-dc
converter to run the lights-control circuits it ok. Will that make the range
longer, maybe by 10 ft. So the original question stands, would the trade off
from weight and drag be productive in getting more distance?
I would think that a motorcycle with its limited capacity for batts and
lighter weight would benefit more than an electric car.
I have the stuff to build it and probably will if time allows. might look
crazy, and might be a waste of time. I'll post the outcome TRUTHFULLY!
