New pics on EVALBUM (before mirror change). Just tossed the stock bar-mounted
mirrors for a nice pair of sport-bike white fairing mounted mirrors. The little
VF bugger looks a bit younger. A few more body mods coming, something in the
way of cleaning up the battery saddle bags, and a small "electric motorcycle"
sign for the rear.

If I want to waste energy on heat, I can make the ammeter go over 200, but it
doesn't mean better acceleration. I found best performance to result from
gradually increasing the throttle. I am concerned after talking to a number of
ETEC people that the pancake motor design other than the original LEMKO can
fail if abused even a little. I really don't have a desire to melt the poor
motorvator. I am finding if I keep the ammeter 50 amps or just under I get good
speed and most of that current turns into speed not heat. "Speed not heat" is a
good mantra, eh?

Cheers
Jeff
