I commute daily to work on the EMC, 4 or 4.5 miles depending on which roads I
take. Today I took the 4.5 mile route. My max speed was 45, typical was 35, a
few lights, and a couple of stop signs. BP showed 86% on Paktrakr when arriving.

Ref: BP is 6 - 55A Deep Cycle AGM Universal 12550, 4KW, has been down to 42%
once. Bike weighs roughly 440lbs (batteries 228lbs), PMG-132 motor, Alltrax
300A 72V ctrlr.

Plugged in the "Kill-O-Watt" and the bike into the K-O-W at 9:50.

I have 6 - 6 amp chargers drawing off one plug, checking the K-O-W they were
drawing 604 watts. At end of charge, approximately 1.8 hours (I think about 20
minutes on trickle) the K-O-W showed 902 watt/hours.

So one way cost was about 9 cents (the company recharges the batteries so my
cost per week commuting is 45 cents. Of course if I drive another 1 mile to and
from lunch spot, that raises my cost 5 cents.

In trickle mode all 6 chargers were drawing 25 watts or .41A, VAC was reading
116.

BTW: The fan shroud I am building is near completion, can send .jpg images.

Later
