Thanks for the inspiration, now let's spend this winter tinkering in the
garage :>) I'm still trying to get some attention from Hoffco Comet on a
manually operated CVT (like a variable speed drill press). They've never
responded to any of my 4 emails, maybe their website is a black hole and
