Hey Jeff, I remember you telling me about how you origionally designed your 
"Frankenseptor" with a Comet CVT. I can't remember why it didn't work out for 
you. Was it because of the centrifical engagement springs and weights? I was 
looking at my variable speed drill press and it has a lever to change speeds, 
no centrifical craparatus. As far as I can figure, the centrifical engagement 
stuff is only good for allowing an ICE to idle and engage in it's power band. 
We EV folks don't need anything more sophisticated than a lever operated CVT, 
similar to a variable speed drill press. What do you think? Maybe it will be up 
to us to design a cool manually operated CVT for our bikes. Let's kick some 
ideas around, Later Bobcat
