There's a lot of new guys lurking. Heck, everyone on this list but
you lurks, Lyle. Ha ha ha.
Here's an update on my projects -
CBR - I blew the Etek and got a new one to replace it. Then I got a
pretty good deal on a Lemco. The Etek (I was told it was brand new)
is for sale at $500. The Lemco uses a different bolt pattern than
the Etek so I need to redo the mount. It uses 48v of Yellow Top D34's.
Hawk - I haven't done anything to the Hawk in over a year. It'll be
a Honda Hawk with a CBR900rr swing arm and magnesium wheels, ADC 6.7"
motor and Alltrax 7245 controller. Dunno which batteries I'll go
with.
Em-dash - an electronic dashboard for electric motorcycles (EM) has
taken a lot of my time. I knew nothing about electronics when I
started this project last year and I'm still no expert but I've
learned so much my brain hurts. The design has changed a zillion
times but the current unit uses an ATMEGA128 microcontroller to
monitor each battery, speed, and motor/controller temps.
That's my life in a nutshell.
