I have two of these that I bought for a slightly lower price here. http://www.batteryservice.com/products_final.aspx?Category=Charger&ModelNumber=SE-1072 I bought one over a year ago and damaged it slightly by running it at too high of a current (the 24 volt setting no longer works correctly), and I recently purchased another one. They have 12 different settings which makes them quite versatile. Inside they are just a multitap transformer with appropriated switches, a rectifier and a fuse, so they are not at all smart. Still, I find them extremely useful. damon
