Hi everyone, Rebecca Carter of GreenerMiami (www.greenermiami.com) just wrote me saying that she is starting to work on getting publicity out to the media for the Key Biscayne EarthFest on Sunday April 22, of which she is one of the lead organizers. She has asked, for the purpose of including in her media publicity efforts, who and how many of us from the Florida EAA will be bringing our EVs to the event and if any of us are willing to give rides or whether all of our EVs will only be on static display. Rebecca said that it would probably be insane to let people drive our cars at such a large event, and I completely agree with that. But I am always willing to load people up in the RAV and take them for rides, so I am giving her an affirmative on that for myself.
If you are planning to bring your EV to this event and would like your name and vehicle to be included in the media PR, could you please let me know by tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon, and please let me know whether or not you are willing to give rides. I will be leaving for Marathon on Thursday morning, so I will pass along whatever info I get from you all to Rebecca tomorrow evening.
