Yes. David Turock has three RAV4-EVs in New Jersey/NYC area and is shipping one to his vacation home in Ft. Lauderdale. I was down there at David's Ft. Lauderdale house a few weeks ago checking out the installation of the TAL SPI charger that his neighbor did. Unfortunately the brand new TAL (from CFC in CA) was DOA and is now being shipped backed to CFC in CA, which is sending out a new replacement charger under the 3-year warranty. This has caused a delay in David's bringing the RAV4-EV down from NYC. In fact he is not shipping it down to Florida at all but rather is driving it down from NYC to FL. Or at least part of the way, and using the AutoTrain for the rest. He has already got charging stops lined up from NYC to Lorton, VA (where he will put it on the AutoTrain). And then I've given David directions for charging stops from Sanford, FL (the AutoTrain terminus) all the way down to Ft. Lauderdale. We're just waiting for Bill Young to install the GM Gen 2+ SPI charger at FSEC that I had given him back in January, and in fact I've got a couple of emails into Bill on that over the last few weeks but haven't yet heard back from him.
With the delay on getting both SPI chargers up, it will probably be another month or so before David drives the RAV from NYC to South Florida.
