Here's an encouraging video of a military electric vehicle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHR3a7mCiEk I say encouraging, for a number of reasons, but most of all, useful military technology usually ends up benefiting the general public (The Internet, GPS Navigation) because of their unlimited budget (our tax money).
