FYI...

Word has it that Toyota will unveil 2 plug-in hybrid prototypes at the 
Tokyo Auto Show soon. That will mean that GM, Volvo, VW, and Toyota all 
will have unveiled plug-in hybrid concept cars this year, and Ford has 
said it will test some plug-in hybrid Escape conversions.
 
*Emissions update:* I've updated my overview of all the studies that I 
could find on well-to-wheels emissions that compare plug-in hybrids or 
electric vehicles with gas cars, hybrids, or hydrogen fuel-cell cars. 
There now are more than 40 studies analyses showing that plugging in is
