on lead pollution from electric bicycles cites shockingly high lead pollution
from lead-acid battery manufacturing in China. I'd be very interested in
citations supporting your assertion that up to 40% of the lead used ends as
emissions.
As an electric vehicle advocate, I'm more used to hearing objections about
battery disposal, which ignore the fact that lead can easily be recycled and
usually is. Almost 99% of such batteries are recycled in the US.
