FYI, Plug-In America has all the major car makers contact info on their website:
http://www.pluginamerica.org/contact_automakers.shtml The manufacturers are behemoths and stubborn. I personally think a better way to get their attention is through all the local dealers in FL. Getting the dealers to put pressure on the maker on behalf of the local market, might have more effect. Getting to FL to follow what California did in the 90's with CARB would have an impact too.
