Hi Everyone,

All things considered, disabilities are a serious issue, but I think EVs are
a part of an enabling technology.

Echolocation, electric wheelchairs, electric lifts and ramps for cars and
vans, and electric vehicles of all types with adaptations such as "joy
sticks" for one handed operation by disabled people are all technologies
that help the less able cope with everyday needs and responsibilities.

I even saw an electric car on the internet that someone could operate
sitting in a wheelchair; the wheelchair could be maneuvered through the back
of the vehicle to the front driver's area and secured there as the drivers
seat/chair.

I expected the more fortunate of us should be thankful we don't have a need
for some of this technology, but it's nice to know it's available for those
who do need it.

Andrew
