I read somewhere that they are importing a mini Chinese ICE SUV, than stripping 
the powertrain and interior. They mount the batteries behind the interior 
panels.

Apparently they use those new tailpipe batteries :-)

 

I believe they are using the same model cars for both gas and electric.

It’s possible there was not a picture of the electric version available.

I hope they are now in production and will do well; another nail in GM’s coffin.
