David, I am not sure about the ethics of my mentioning another forum on this
forum, but the EVDL is an international forum. It has been in existance for a
long time. Their major mission is to support and be supported as individuals
who are doing conversions.

I get a lot more out of this FLEAA group because I am working on many angles of
EV promotion...The politics, the legislation, the media, etc.
Find below a link to the EVDL. Be forewarned! The volume of the list, even in
digest form is huge. You might want to look over the archives first. There are
some great folks on it, though.

People like yourself who are doing conversions are so needed in the development
of the EV "industry". Congrats for your courage in actually doing this! Fran

  Subject: [FLEAA] initial thoughts

I learned a lot at the meeting this week end. A number of my initial
thoughts about an EV has changed.

My initial thoughts were to get a sound but older car for conversion.

I have realized that y first conversion will probably not be the last and My
first conversion will need a second owner.

I think a small sporty coupe would be good. Does anyone have recommendations
for a good starting car?

  David
