Hi Steve,
Typically when someone signs up they will get an email from the list-request address asking them to confirm that they are the one who actually wanted to sign up for the email list. We do this to prevent people from just plugging anyone's email and getting them on the list without them knowing. After you are confirmed, all the emails from the list will be from '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. However, like you did this time, please send all emails to '[email protected]'. In this case, this looks like it came from the server and is valid. Hope that answers the question.
