Hi All, I just received this invitation for the FLEAA to exhibit EVs at the 4th Annual Goby Fest (www.nbbd.com/npr/cpa/gobyfest/index.html) in the Melbourne area on Saturday, April 5th. There would be no exhibitor charge for the FLEAA as a non-profit, educational organization.
I myself will not be able to make it to this event. Are there any of you in the Space Coast/Treasure Coast area that would be interested in attending and exhibiting your EVs, e.g. Jerry Wagner and Mark Haines in Melbourne, Ted Blumstein in Vero Beach, Steve Clunn in Ft.Pierce? If so, you can contact the event organizer, Suzanne Valencia, of the Coastal Preserves Alliance in Melbourne, at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or 321-984-0604. I will let Suzanne know that I have passed her invitation along to the entire FLEAA membership. Thanks, Charles Whalen Delray Beach, FL ----- Original Message ----- From: Suzanne Valencia To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2008 9:00 AM Subject: Electric car display at Goby Fest Hello Charles, I just spoke with Jay Wherley and he suggested that I contact you. He responded to the message below and said that he would have a table at our event and I am hoping that you would do the same. I am on the board of the Coastal Preserves Alliance which sponsors > Goby Fest as a fund raiser for the St. Sebastian River Preserve State > Park (formerly the buffer preserve) plus 4 other state preserves. I > was talking to Sam McGee yesterday after I saw her bio-diesel vehicle > in the parking lot of the park. I have wanted to get bio-diesel and > hybrid vehicles to display at the festival and am wondering if you > might consider that? You would be classified as Environmental > Education and there would be no charge. I have attached the Exhibitor > Application and hope you will consider. Thanks for your consideration.
