Hi everyone, I've been swamped and horribly behind on getting geared up for the events with Chelsea Sexton in Miami this coming Friday evening, April 11, at Miami City Hall in Coconut Grove, and Saturday, April 12, at Fairchild Garden in Coral Gables. Fortunately, the people at Fairchild Garden and Miami City Hall, as well as some of our own FLEAA members, picked up the slack with Chelsea and took care of all the planning and organizing of the events themselves, given my longtime incommunicado status due to two computer crashes/failures and a number of other problems, disruptions, and pressing commitments I've had. So everything is pretty much already taken care of and scheduled.
I am driving down to Miami City Hall early tomorrow morning with all my electrical gear, charger, and plug adaptors to check on and verify the 50A 208V charging outlets that they're making available to us down there, so as to locate them, make sure they've got power, that they power up my charger, and that I've got the right plug adaptors. Anyone driving their EV down there will only need to be able to plug into a 10-30 standard dryer plug, as I will have plug adaptors for the outlet types they've got there. I expect to post the full schedule of the Miami April 11-12 events with Chelsea on the FLEAA discussion list by tomorrow evening.
