APRIL GENERAL MEETING TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2008 at 6 PM PINE JOG ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER Are you interested in green building? By Brenda Jaffe EXCOM member Please join us for an informative and inspiring presentation about the new green elementary school, Pine Jog Elementary. Pine Jog is the first LEED Certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design a rating system by the U.S. Green Building Council) rated Gold school in Palm Beach County. Mr. Glenn Thomas, the Executive Director of K-12 Program for the College of Education/FAU will give the presentation. LOCATION: Pine Jog Environmental Education Center 6301 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33415. From I-95 take Forest Hill Blvd west to Jog Rd. Turn right or north on Jog to the next light which is Summit Blvd. Turn right (east) on Summit. The Pine Jog entrance will be approximately 200 yards on your left (or the north side of Summit) >From the Turnpike take the Southern Blvd exit east to Jog Rd. Go right or south on Jog Rd. to the second light which is Summit Blvd. Turn left of east onto Summit. The Pine Jog entrance will be approximately 200 yards on the left. Hard Hat tours are available at the new site on either Wednesday April 2, 2008, or Wednesday April 23, 2008 at 4pm.
