Thanks, Ted. Our PHEV will just need a 110V standard plug in. But I am hoping
that other EV folks will meet up with us. You know better than I who is in your
area, and what type of EV they would be driving and, therefore, what kind of
connection they may need. As we progress in making our specific plans may I
please phone you for help with local info?
I appreciate your response. Does anyone in your area have a solar charger for
their EV?

Fran, We'll mark down the dates you will be in Fort Myers. Tell me ahead
what connection you will need for charging and we'll try to have it. TED

This morning I had a conversation with the director of The Advanced
Research Development Center out of Raleigh, NC. Our conversion of our Prius
will occur at the latest on July 3rd. This gentleman is very cautious about
making statements that will reach the media, so I feel confident that he knows
that his supplier understands that it is imperative that we can be where we say
we will be when we say we will be there. Whew. I hope you can follow that.
So, folks, here is the itinerary. Please let me know if you can
participate in your area of the state, and I will mark you down for the areas
that you can parrticipate in.
If the volume of posts about the EVI gets to be too much for the FLEAA
email list we can move these postings to the blog on the FLEAA "blogsite" (I
think). I don't want to lose members who feel that they are getting too many
posts. But I do want to invite all to participate in this trip that we hope
will help to promote EVs & PHEVs in Florida. This is the short form of the
itinerary. It will "flesh out" over the next few weeks with lots of details.
Also this itinerary is now tentative so if we missed your town or there is a
big green festival a day or so before or after we visit your way, please let us
know asap and we will flex while we can. Tnx. Fran, Ron & Joy
