The Electric Vehicle Initiative is now sorting itself out into different
categories in my mind and since I have learned a bit about the talents and
interests of the FLEAA members who post on this mailing list, I am getting
ready to target some "volunteers" whose talents match the tasks. I realize that
we are all very busy and I have had to say "no" to a lot of things lately that
I used to help with. So if you have to say that you can't help, I do
understand.
The first category that I am working on today is "petition development". And
the first two talented members that come to mind are Al Lococco & Charles
Whalen.
Al & I have talked several times about the Chevron/Texaco patent and he has
already penned some great words about that topic which can become a base of a
petition about this. Charles is probably the most talented wordsmith I have
ever read, so we definitely need him to put the shine on any crucial word
document of the EVI, especially the petitions. So, guys, I don't meant to put
you on the spot, but can you free up some of that skill for a good cause? We
can do a conferenced call or we can just email each other and copy each other
if you have time to do this.
There is a site on the web that allows one to create a petition and invite
folks to sign it. We could also take some hard copies to use at the EVI
