Hi Donato,

Yes, I met you and Danny briefly at the Green Apple Festival in Bicentennial
Park in downtown Miami back in April (although the music was so loud that I
couldn't hear any of the conversation that you and Danny were having with
Cliff Rassweiler, even though I was standing right next to you guys). I
have been following your project on your website and think it is great what
you guys are doing! Great website, by the way! You are right that that is
definitely the way to go for most people, and I wholeheartedly support your
efforts!

We would be very honored to have you and Danny bring your conversion project
car out to this event in Miramar next Friday evening! In fact, we have been
desperately trying to get some conversions to come to the event but have not
been able to, mostly because people are out of town or have other
commitments. I actually think it would be really cool and very educational
to have a car on display like yours that is a conversion in process, so that
people can see what is involved in doing a conversion.

Do you have a way to get the car to the event, maybe have it towed there?
That would be great, and we look forward to having you, Danny, and your
conversion project car there! It would be good if you could have your car
there by 6pm, as we'll be having an electric car exhibition between 6pm and
7pm before the movie starts.

By the way, I wish that RAV4-EVs were still selling for those kind of prices
you mentioned ... ~$40k, but in just the last few months, with the
skyrocketing price of gasoline, demand for RAV4-EVs has similarly
skyrocketed to the point that the last few sales have been in the $70-90k
range. ... Which makes conversions (like the one you're doing) all the more
compelling and important!

Thanks for your willingness to bring your conversion project to the event!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,

Charles Whalen

Sandler, WINZ 940 AM radio show host

Hello,

My name is Donato Helbling, I am part of the miamiEVproject. We are doing a
full educational blog to empower people to convert their cars into electric
cars. These cars that will be shown in the expo are great cars, and we are
in full support of them, but not all of us have $k40 to spare (or more for
those RAV4s), so we spend $k10-$k15 converting our existing cars. We are in
the process of doing our first conversion, which can be seen at
www.miamiEVproject.com . We should have edited videos and pictures up this
weekend.

is there any way we can present our project in the event? If so, please
contact me at 305-401-5312

thanks you very much
