The free event, Transportation Transformation:  Travel Green! begins at 9:30 
a.m. and runs until 12:30 p.m. on September 24, 2008.

9:30 a.m. - Noon - HT Building Parking Area - Green Your Ride Show

The display will feature the following:

*
        An electric Scion xBox displayed by Andrew Roddy from the Florida 
Electric Auto Association
*       Two SMART Cars displayed by their owners:  Karen Kolinski from 
Clearwater and Cindy Raymond from Boca who is a student here at PBCC
*       Two electric scooters that plug into a standard outlet to recharge - 
displayed by Innovative Scooters on West Palm Beach
*       A 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid displayed by Jeanne Boone, faculty member
*       A 2002 VW Beetle biobug grease car that runs on biodiesel and recycled 
waste vegetable oil displayed by Ken Kohrs
*       Bicycles and skateboards displayed by Tropic Bikes, Boca Raton

9:45-10:30 - Speakers at the Green Your Ride Show in the parking area west of 
the HT Building

*       The displayers listed above will each do a 5-10 minute presentation 
about the benefits of their type of alternative transportation AND will offer 
information about what needs to happen to bring that alternative to scale 
(i.e., What needs to happen to make electric powered vehicles a widespread, 
affordable, safe alternative?)

11:15-12:15 - HT 103 - Panel Presentation about Mass Transit Transformation in 
South Florida
