Hi all! I teach at PBCC South in Boca, and Andrew and Charles Whalen
have been kind enough to display their vehicles here numerous times and
I'm wondering if we could follow-up on this idea of getting elected
officials to try out EVs (to get them "plugged in") by hosting an EV
Rally of some sort here on our campus, or on the FAU campus, which is
right next door.

We will be doing a big campus environmental event on February 5, 2009,
which is 100 days after our new administration is elected (both local,
state, and federal) and plan on doing 100 days worth of events leading
up to the event on February 5, 2009. Are any of you interested in
brainstorming an event on our campus which would be held during that
time frame?

And...Andrew will be displaying here, along with other "alternative
energy vehicles" on September 24 from 9:30-Noon, so please join us!

Great idea about Gov. Christ. We need to give more rides to elected
officials to get them plugged in

Very smart idea for the name of the company. It isn't an American
company,
but most Americans will assume it is just by the name. Has anyone
looked
into inviting Gov. Christ to any of the EV events to give him an
opportunity
to drive an EV? It might convince him to try and help out with making
EVs
easier to get/run and it would be a great public relations opportunity
for
him (and us if we play off it.) Win-win situation.
