My current gearing on the bike is 14/67. I do agree that a high load will increase heat, but I wouldn't think that the way I was riding would create a terrible amount of heat if the wires were any where near what they should be. I was taking it very easy from a stop, building speed very slowly.
It was recommended to me to just run my pack without a BMS for now until I get a new one. I can control the LVC with the controller, and the cells shouldn't need balancing for a while. Does anyone know a good LVC point for a 48v pack?
