Thanks for the code info but I think that is for the ICE version of
the Ranger. I have an NGS tester with the Ranger EV card. The DTC
C1839 Leakage Fault is defined in the workshop manual as: Current
leakage is a low level of impedance between vehicle chassis and
either traction battery positive or traction battery negative. There
are 18 possible sources of the fault and pinpoint tests to find it.
The battery pack must be lowered and it weighs almost 2,000 pounds.
The likely culprit is a loose or broken wire. But where oh where
could that wire be???

don't have the skills to diagnose further and I don't want the
truck sitting around.
