I received a letter yesterday from Joan Bryant representing an event called
RubeLab on the Green planned for Saturday February 28, 2009 in Eustis, FL.
They would like EVs to participate in a parade, and then at the GeorgeFest
celebration which says it draws about 10,000 visitors. Rubelab is a non-profit
corporation, and describes themselves as "a center for environmental
innovation".

Eustis is located in central Florida, north of Kissimmee, so if I attended, my
S-10 would need to be towed or trailered from Tampa. Perhaps some of the
central Florida EVers would be able to drive to the event. If anyone here on
the list is familiar with the Eustis GeorgeFest, please let us know if this
event is something worth persuing. If so, perhaps FLEAA should try to organize
a group appearance of EVs. I have been advised that there would be no cost for
our attending.
