Folks,

Polk Community College is having the Earth Day - Alternative Energy Expo at PCC.

Monday April 20 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

I believe this event will be at the Lakeland Campus, which is at the intersection of Winter Lake Road and US 98. This is just south of exit 10 on the Polk Parkway (SR 570). The campus is in the southeast corner of the intersection. There is an entrance from US 98 north and Winter Lake Road (SR 540) east.

We have a growing number EVs in Polk County, but so far very limited, so I invite any support from around the state.

I will post further details as they become available.

Cheers,
Al Lococo

Al,

Has anyone from PCC contacted you about the Earth Day - Alternative Energy Expo at PCC?

We are planning on having an alternative energy Expo on Monday April 20 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are interested in all types of alternative energy in general and in alternative energy cars in particular. We'd like to have electric, hybrid, natural gas, and hydrogen. Of course the hydrogen is probably hard to find. We'd love to have your electric truck here.

Are you interested? Let me know.

Thanks,

Bruce.
