We are excited and look forward to seeing you there. Drivers must be at the park between 5:00-6:00PM in order to be assigned a space in the procession. Those arriving early will get preferred assignment toward the beginning of the procession. There will also be FREE Biodiesel given to participants by our sponsor, Biodiesel in Motion Bio will be dispensed at the staging area in Bicentennial Park. • Wednesday April 22, 2009 - "Earth Day World Record"- Alternative Fuel Parade o 5:00 PM – Staging at Bicentennial Park (just north of American Airlines Arena) This is the main staging area. If your alternative-fuel vehicle has a low-range, we have a 2nd staging area at the Miami Science Museum. o 7:00 PM- Parade begins o 7:30 PM- Parade arrives to Miami Science Museum where low-range vehicles join the parade o 7:45 PM- Parade arrives at City Hall and Mayor Manny Diaz addresses the crowd The route will start at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami, run down Biscayne Boulevard, then historic Brickell and Bayshore Drives, then end at City Hall in Coconut Grove where the Mayor will address the participants. If your vehicle has a low-range, we are asking that you take your car to the 2nd staging area at the Miami Science Museum. The distance is only 2 miles to the parade finale versus the 6 miles from Bicentennial park.
