I would try reconfiguring as I know the service packs contains some security updates that may have broken some stuff.

It fails with an error, An exception was caught in the BDCSearchPH interop for GetEntityInstance. This could be a BDC ObjectNotFound: Before the SP1, search crawl was working without any problems. I am wondering if any reconfiguring or something of that sort is required but not sure. Has any of you experienced this at all?
