You might be able to add a custom action to a document library to
achieve this and you might have to experiment with some javascript to do
the cut and paste. It might work...

Hey all

I'm wondering if it's possible to insert a button (or link) into a
document library column that would copy the document's link to the
clipboard?

The scenario is that documents will be stored in a document library, and
will be linked to from Siebel. The users want to be able to upload the
documents, and then click a button which will copy the url to the
clipboard, so they can then paste this link into Siebel (or any other
app)

In other words, replicate the 'right click, copy shortcut' action, but
in a single click.
