Moss uses the object model to talk to SSRS server. and so moss installation
without configuration is required as far as my experience goes..

Did you need to install anything on your separate report sever?? Trying to do
the same sort of thing with a separate SharePoint server and Report server.
Getting an error about an object during the installation of the Reporting
services in integrated mode.

Is the domains trusted?..Is it like moving thru local to dev staging you have
different domains?

Hey,

Could you confirm whether its configured for windows/trusted auth.

I had similar problem. What i did was configure Windows Auth for moss + ssrs
addin, and
enabled integrated auth on the
iis->http://...reportserver<UrlBlockedError.aspx>. This is a 4 server config,
1.SQL+SSRS.
2.MOSS CA + Index
3.WFE x 2

Also if its possible could you please give me a quick layout of infrastructure
setup. Clearly it looks like a multi-hop scenario.

Cheers, Zak

Hi Zak

I changed targetserver url to "http://navigator:25007/Databyte"; but its still
keep asking me

username and password while deploying from my local machine. But we deployed one

report from the server(SSRS and sharepoint site on same server) to make sure
that Addin in

configured properly and that works fine but not from my local machine.

Any suggestion where else could be the problem?

Thanks

Sukh

hey,

Check the targetserver url. i think it needs to be "
http://navigator:25007/Databyte"; instead of SSRS report server url.

Assuming SSRS Addin in configured correctly..

Thanks, Zak
