Why deploy it, unless this is a feature you want to use across multiple
sites and domains?

1. Drop a favicon.ico file to the Images directory of your MOSS site.

2. Add <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/images/favicon.ico" /> to the
head of your Master Page(s).

3. Check-in, publish, approve and refresh the site. Beware of typical
caching in IE.

Subject: [OzMOSS] Features: Deploying a Fav Icon

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to deploy a Fav Icon using a Feature? or even a
Feature receiver?

Thanks,

Marten
