There are a number of places that offer cheap WSS hosting (in the order of $10 per month), but what you get is a WSS site collection, with no access to Central Admin, no STSADM access, and no ability to manage users without raising a support request. If all you want is a public WSS site for your own use to host a blog or something, then it's probably not a bad option. If you wanna do anything even slightly fancy (custom webparts, etc...) then it's not an option. This is the option I have gone with, and I'm already starting to feel the pain :) I'd expect full blooded MOSS hosting to set you back more around the $100 per month mark.. I'd be interested to hear what others are using for MOSS hosting as well!
