Hi all,

Below is a question from a colleague of mine (he's having trouble
signing up to the list at the moment)

Nigel

I am trying to created a custom advanced search page by having the
advanced search web part on a page. The problem is that even if I
specify a default scope and select "show scope picker", the default
scope remains unselected, and users would have to select it in order to
narrow down the scope.

Is there any way to have the default scope selected by default, or not
show the default scope at all but have it as the default scope at the
background?

Thanks
