It failed because you sent the message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]<mailto:[EMAIL

Try it again and you'll be right.

As for your question, I believe you can drag a search results core web part
onto a custom results page, then in the miscellaneous section, set the search
scope you require. You can then have a new tab, or link which directs them to
this page to search on that particular scope.

You can also set the default search scope for every site to be something else
other than all sites.

Subject: Advanced Search

Dear all

I am trying to created a custom advanced search page by having the advanced
search web part on a page. The problem is that even if I specify a default
scope and select "show scope picker", the default scope remains unselected, and
users would have to select it in order to narrow down the scope.

Is there any way to have the default scope selected by default, or not show the
default scope at all but have it as the default scope at the background?

Thanks
Angelo Alexander
