Hi All,

I was wondering if there are any best practices, white papers, knowledge bases,
etc on setting up a WFE in a DMZ that communicates with the other MOSS servers
behind a firewall. What I'm looking for are the following details

 * Can it be done? (I would assume that this is pretty common)
 * What traffic needs the be allowed through the Firewall(s)
 * What topology needs to be used (both in the Internal Network and in the
DMZ)

Currently I have setup a SQL and MOSS server in the Internal Domain (this is
working fine), but when I try to configure a MOSS WFE in the DMZ (there is no
Domain in the DMZ so all the server are in a workgroup) the installer errors
after entering the Database details of the existing farm.

The Error message I'm getting is as follows

********** Start Error Message ***********

---------------------------
SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard
---------------------------
The username is invalid. The account must be a local account or a global
domain account.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

********** End Error Message ***********

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
