Hi All, I am trying to refine the default search results returned by the MOSS...Eg: When I perform a keyword search I want to see the search results only if the keyword is present in the content and not when the keyword is present in the navigation links or in the master page.
I suggested the client to add scope rules in SharePoint Central Administration eg: http://moss:90/FAQs/Pages... so that only the contents within a particular library will be displayed in the search results...The disadvantage of this approach is, they have specify crawl rules for each and every document/ Pages library in the web site..which is a tedious process and the client is not happy with that... Is there any other approach I can follow to solve this problem?...I am sure someone else would have experienced and solved this issue.... Look forward for the replies.
