That's certainly do-able but I was hoping to reduce overhead by determining the sitename before the query and render takes place.
I'd wrap both web parts into one and then offer a choice of XSL template based on the sitename, except that I don't think you can have two datasources applied to a single DFWB. What I'd like to know is whether the sitename is accessible from within the XSL stylesheet - i.e. <xsl:value-of select="sitename"/> And whether more than one datasource (site) can be defined.
