Hi All,

I've tried to lock down security on a specific folder on a site
collection\sub site\shared documents\sub folder\sub sub folder

I've created a SharePoint security group SPSGSubFolderSubSubFolder and
given it FULL CONTROL on that specific subsubfolder and removed all
inherited security groups.

Three AD accounts are members of this security group.

The contact email address for asking addition to the security is my
email address.

The ownership of this security group goes to another security group
SPSGSOwners with two AD accounts as members, one of them is my AD
account.

I was expecting not to be able to even see the subsubfolder in the
navigation nor to be able to see its content and read/check in check
etc..., but I can do all that.

Nobody else can except the SPSGSubFolderSubSubFolder members (to be
complete I should mention that my AD account isn't a member of this SPS
Group)

My AD account is a farm administrator and a site collection
administrator.

The second AD account part of SPSGSOwners has the same privileges, but
he can't see the subsubfolder, as expected.

I have cleared all caches including IE browser cache and cookies

After set up I've logged off and logged back on from my workstation too.

I even bounced the production machine to try and fix this.

Does anybody see/understand where the problem lays? Any other
suggestions?

Cheers, Wilson Wampers
