Because the choice column is set to use checkboxes (multiple select), the grouping option for views is not available. You can only group with choice fields that are set to be a drop down as it is a single item select option. However, as a workaround, you may suggest to filter the view in the same screen by clicking on the drop down on the header column of the checkbox field and selecting one of the choices there.
