Bit hard to tell without knowing what is going on in the code, but assume you are trying to read from and/or update an object (site, list, list item) that the user who is using your feature does not have access to. The SPSecurity class can be used for running code under elevated privledges (google, there's plenty around on it - Ishai's blog contains a saga about it :) but note that this will run the code under the context of the WebAppPool user - so that user must have the necessary rights to access the objects your code is using. My solution calls and aspx page and creates and item on an normal list. When I'm logged with administrator privileges I can execute the feature and the everything it's working fine. But this feature was designed to be used by users only with "Contribute" privileges, and that's where I get the error. I try some tricks but with no results: - Give maximum privileges to an user and try to execute the task with him. Same error. - I raise the trust level on web.config to "Full" - Recycle app pools and reset iis. I don't know what else to do. Please help, any suggestions are more than welcome.
