Hi, We created a custom workflow using the SPD that uses the following actions:
1. Collect Data from a User 2. Send Email We noticed that action #1 automatically creates a task. We want to be able to include a link that will point to this task on action #2. We tried all the available variables in there but to no avail. We're trying it now using VS2005. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has ever tried creating something similar using SPD before we delve deeper into VS2005. Basically, the client needs just a simple email with a link to the actual task that they need to complete. They don't like the body of the email OOTB, they want to be able to specify the wordings themselves. Would really appreciate any ideas/thoughts on this one.
