Interesting.

This actually uses the following script from ows.js to perform the link
creation:

function PortalPinToMyPage(eForm, portalUrl, instanceID)
{
eForm.action = portalUrl + '_vti_bin/portalapi.aspx?Cmd=PinToMyPage';
eForm.ReturnUrl.value = window.location.href;
eForm.ListViewUrl.value = MakeMtgInstanceUrl(eForm.ListViewUrl.value,
instanceID); eForm.submit();
}

Notice how it's appending _vti_bin/ string to the 'portalUrl'. Your
portalUrl is clearly what's incorrect - for some reason it's missing the
trailing slash. Possibly when you created the site, it was set to the
incorrect URL.

The SPSite/Web class has a property called PortalUrl that you need to set,
in order for the connection to the upper portal to work (aka, youll get the
link to 'up to portal', etc).

You could try changing it via Site Actions > Site Settings > Site Collection
Administration > Portal Site Connection (ensure the URL has a leading slash,
this time).

Subject: [OzMOSS] add to my links issue

Hi guys,

On document librarys/lists I get the following problem.

When going Actions-> add to my links the url is incorrect

As you can see it is missing a / on top of this it seems like a static link
as we are now using https.

http://blah.com.au_vti_bin/portalapi.aspx?Cmd=PinToMyPage

any clues on how to fix these issues?
