Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, this used to work for me. I have a Silverlight WCF web service running on a local IIS app. If I browse to it I get the error HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found.
It used to work... *scratches head*. So I decide to create a new one app and see if it works. I created a blank Silverlight app, added a Silverlight enabled WCF service to the web site (Web Application project). I try to add a Service reference to it while it is running on the inbuilt web service and it can see it no problems. I change the web site to run on IIS and click the "Create Virtual Directory" button. Check to see it has done so and IIS manager shows it. Try to add the Service reference again and bam, Error 404.3 not found again. Have I messed up something with IIS? I'm sure it just worked before but I could be wrong... Help! cheers, Stephen ------------------------------------------------------------------- OzSilverlight.com - to unsubscribe from this list, send a message back to the list with 'unsubscribe' as the subject.
