That's true actually. From memory, it left the field blank in Excel.

Be careful doing that - it doesn't do the multi line descriptions properly.

Exporting WI queries to Excel has worked nicely in the past.

Hello all,

Has anybody worked out a way to copy work items from one server to another - 
without doing it individually.

I was thinking that I could probably use the new "tfpt.exe query" and pipe the 
output into "tfpt.exe workitem" - just wanted to know if anybody had seen it 
done before I invest the time.
