And that's fine as it will get ALL the changesets up to the one you selected.
 
Let's say you've worked till the 1000 changeset.
If you select changeset 800 it will get all the file changes up to the 800 changeset.
How would you get changeset 700 to 800 if the Version Control Store is incremental? What would changeset 700 be? Just a few of the lines changed on a few files. That wouldn't do you any good :)

I had your problem once and I had to keep looking at each file Diff to the Previous version. Another good thing you can do is use Annotate from the TFS Power Toys, it will tell you what lines of what files were changed by whom! Very nice!

Go to source explorer and select Get Specific Version, then select the changeset that you want up to.

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to get a specific version of my code – more specifically all the changesets that have been applied from a certain point. Eg. I want all the files that have changed since changeset 1555.

 

The IDE wont let me do this. So I'm having to manually punch in each changeset from the date range I want.

 

Is there a better way?
