Hi Grant, I just checked and Microsoft Readiness have just released 4 new spots on the Melbourne VSTS Deep Dive next week. If anyone wants to attend they should get in ASAP on the link you provided. The Microsoft Technical Readiness Team are also running the VSTS Deep Dive in Brisbane (19-21 Feb 07) and Perth (TBA). If demand exists the Microsoft Readiness team will also consider additional locations/dates. I am happy to pass on any requests to the Readiness team if anyone wants to send me their requests :) Cheers Anthony Borton AB Training Pty Ltd Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Blog: www.myvstsblog.com <http://www.myvstsblog.com/> Mobile: (61) 408 302 173

The content is aimed at people who have a fair idea about how to use TFS, and want to know how to install, customise and extend VSTS. It delves into topics like the object model, process templates, and custom reporting. (It's 4 days and it's being delivered in Melbourne next week - there might be places left if you're lucky. If not shoot me an email and I'll see if we can get another one organised https://www.local.microsoft.com.au/australia/events/register/home.aspx?levent=550849&linvitation ) As promised, here are some links that I said I'd share with the class. · Process Template Editor (http://www.gotdotnet.com/workspaces/workspace.aspx?id=812a68af-5e74-48c6-9623-1a4469142a84 then "releases" bottom right) · VSTSRocks training videos (http://teamsystemrocks.com/tutorials/default.aspx) · TFS Integrator (http://notgartner.wordpress.com/tag/projects/tfs-integrator/ Continuous Integration without IIS + cascading builds) · TFS Bug Snapper (http://www.holliday.com.au/tfsbugsnapper/) · Extra TFS sample reports included in the training VPC (http://blogs.msdn.com/buckh/archive/2006/09/09/tfs_reporting.aspx) · UK SDC MSBuild tasks: http://www.gotdotnet.com/codegallery/codegallery.aspx?id=b4d6499f-0020-4771-a305-c156498db75e · Changing the InstanceId for a development/DR server (http://www.holliday.com.au/blog/tfs-instanceid-servermapxml-and-how-to-cause-havoc.html) · Object Model docco on MSDN o Version Control: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.teamfoundation.versioncontrol.client.versioncontrolserver_members(VS.80).aspx o Work Items: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.teamfoundation.workitemtracking.client.workitemstore(VS.80).aspx o Security: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.teamfoundation.server.igroupsecurityservice(VS.80).aspx I'll give a review of the training course after I finish it on Friday.
